These are the simple rules for using Echolio. By using the site, you agree to them. See also our Privacy page.

Your content stays yours

You own the messages, photos, and voice messages you add. You give us permission to store them and show them to the people the book is shared with (the organizers and the recipient), only to run the service.

Be kind and fair

• Only add photos, recordings, and words you have the right to share.
• Don't add anything hateful, harassing, illegal, or that invades someone's privacy.
• Don't try to break, overload, or get around the site's protections.

Organizers

• You decide who gets the share link and book link, so please share them carefully.
• You can hide or delete pages that don't belong in the book.
• Co-organizers you invite can manage the book, except deleting it.

Removing content

We may remove content or limit access if it breaks these rules or the law.

The service

Echolio doesn't charge for anything yet. Paid plans may come later, and we'll tell you before anything you use starts to cost money. We work hard to keep it running and your books safe, but it's provided “as is”, without guarantees, and features may change. Please download a copy (the PDF or “Download everything”) of anything you can't bear to lose. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses that come from using the site.

Changes and questions

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For questions, ask the organizer of your book, who can make most changes for you.
